WELLNESS IN THE BREATH
June 26
When we talk about breath we are talking about the backbone of yoga: all techniques, physical and breathing exercises, visualizations, meditation, singing, use the breath as an engine for their execution and as a tool to achieve health, centering and existential joy. We will talk about the breath and its dynamics in relation to our yogic practice.
KUNDALINI AND CENTERS OF CONSCIENCE
July 31
Housed in its own coils at the base of the spine, Kundalini represents the sleeping power of the human being that the practice of yoga intends to awaken. What obstacles does Kundalini encounter in the path of awakening? What is the very meaning of awakening and how does it manifest itself?
PRANA, THE LIFE FORCE
August 21
Prana is the cosmic energy to which yogis they learn to draw voluntarily; it is that energy which they wish to accumulate, which they want to avoid dispersion, and which they aim to direct towards the various levels of being.
MANTRA AND DIVINITY: MEANINGS AND EMBODIED POWERS
September 25
We will deal with the theme of mantras by getting closer to the Gods and Goddesses that are the object of singing to find out what message lies behind their attributes and features that are pacified, bewitching or terrible. The mantras, however, are not articulated only around the divinities of the Hindu Pantheon. The most ancient mantras synthesize the universal without cultural or religious connotations. What strength does a mantra contain? How does it act on the human being? These are some of the questions we will try to answer in order to better understand the meaning and possibilities of our chanting practices.
KARMA AND MEDITATION
October 23
Why do we meditate and "where are we" when we meditate? Meditation as an elective practice of inner transformation.
